Nabanna Scholarship:-
Nabanna scholarship scheme is initiated by the Government of West Bengal for the eligible students of Class 10 or Class 12 exam or any other University Examination (UG / PG). The students who are residents of West Bengal can apply for this scholarship scheme. The primary objective of the Nabanna scholarship is to provide economic help and monetary aid to the meritorious students of West Bengal every year under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
This is also known as the Chief Minister relief fund scholarship. An amount is Rs 10000 per year is awarded a scholarship to each and every eligible individual. The Chief Minister of West Bengal has taken the initiative to provide funds to the students to complete their further education after classes 10 and 12 so that education does not lack behind for individuals due to low financial status and low family income. Students belonging to any category are eligible to apply for the Nabanna Scholarship and are benefit from this scheme.
To promote education in the state, the govt launches various schemes to allow the students to continue with their studies without worrying about their finances and attain their dream jobs. Eligibility Criteria:-
The candidate must be live in West Bengal.
The total family income should not be more than Rs. 60,000/- per year
The student’s age will be maximum of 30 years.
Candidates who are applying for any other scholarship, are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Candidates must have studied under the West Bengal State / University.
Applicants have 60% marks in their last examination.
Students must have passed Madhyamik.
Rewards:-
The scholarship will be approved after the Document verification. The amount is Rs.10,000/- per annum.
