JINDAL SCHOLARSHIP:-
Sitaram Jindal Foundation which is a charitable organization based in Bangalore has founded the Sitaram Jindal Scholarship. It is a solely merit-based scheme for the student who belongs to the economically backward class. the Candidate from a financially weaker family who is studying from class 11 to Post Graduation is eligible to apply for this scholarship. This Scholarship Scheme also covered the Polytechnic as well as Diploma Courses in Technical education. Candidates can apply on the official website sitaramjindalfoundation.org. All States candidates can apply for this scholarship. The student should have studied in classes 11, 12.
The eligible students are given up to Rs 2500 per month under this scheme. Every year, the meritorious but economically backward students who are unable to afford their education due to family and financial problems are given this opportunity to apply for the Jindal Scholarship. This scholarship scheme is further divided into 6 categories.
The awards for this scholarship are different for every category of students. Eligibility Criteria:-
Students should have studied in 11 to – 12th class
Students must be studying in school under the Education Council /board/university of the State or Central Government.
The annual family income should be less than 4 lakh
The students belonging to female category marks have secured a minimum of 60% in their last examination.
Male candidates should have 65% marks on their previous examination.
The candidates must have their adhar card and caste or category certificate.
Students belonging to Karnataka states must get a minimum of 70% in their last examination
Students belonging to the West Bengal state must get a minimum of 65% for females & 70% for males.
The annual family income of the employed family must be within 4 lakh
The other family income must be within Rs.2,50,000

Renewal Application:-
The student will have to pass the previous examination.
If the student fails in a year, he/she will not be paid the scholarship for that particular year.
The student will have to apply for the renewal of the scholarship each year
Selection Process:-
Jindal Scholarship will be selecting the eligible candidates for their scholarship scheme best on their merit & Academic performance. Their economic condition is also kept in mind. The SJ Foundation will provide the scholarship amount via check to the eligible candidate’s bank ac.
Rewards:-
Under this Jindal Scholarship, the reward amount is INR 2,500. This is achieved by students with different qualifications.
