Inspire Scholarship:-
Inspire Scholarship has invented by Department of Science and Technology. It provides economic support to the students for furthur education to those who are unable to study due to lack to funds or poor financial condition of the family. Inspire Scholarship stands for Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research. This scholarship is given on the basis of merit.The main objective of Inspired Scholarship is to motivate the students to study in basic science and help them build a career in scientific research. The students studying in undergraduate course of Basic Science and Natural Science subjects are rewarded with the Inspire Scholarship.
Since Ancient times, India has been reseaching in Mathematics and Science. Our former President Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam brought this scholarship amomg the students and has helped millions of candidates to fulfill their dreams in the careers of science without worrying about the financial burden. It has different scheme for various age group of students ranging from class 6 to Ph.D levels. Every year around 12000 students from various science institutions accross the country are benefited from this scholarship. It aims towards bringing the talents of the students are help them grow in their life and build careers accordingly.

The Student must be between 17-22 years of age.
The student must be pursuing basic science or natural science courses.
Top Rankers of AIEE & JEE, they can apply for this scholarship.
B.SC, M.Sc, Degree holder Can apply for this Inspire Scholarship.
Students under Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna, National Talent Search Examination, Olympiad Medallists and Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search Scholar, can apply for this scholarship.

Renewal Application of Inspire Scholarship:-
The students who wants to renewal Inspire Scholarship, they have to fill the renewal application form. If the students perforamance is good then university accept their Application Form.
Selection Process:-
The selection of the eligible candidates is different at different levels. The department of Science and Technology is strict on the selection. Candidates need not go through any exams to be eligible for this scholarship scheme, they are selected based on their marks in schools and colleges. One of the main factors that is taken into account is the ability of the student to take the education to the highest level. It mainly aims towards making scholars of the next generation.
Rewards:-
The eligible and selected candidates are rewarded with Rs 80000 per year. Rs 60000 is the annually given schoalrship and Rs 20000 is given to the students who have attended the summer research projects.
A total of 12000 scholarship are launched for the eligible candidates.
The Scholarship are provided for a maximum of 5 years period.
The scholarship will pay the course fee and other relevant expenses of the students during the course
The Candidates are given the opportunity to complete their undergraduate and postgraduate courses in science subjects.
