Eligibility Criteria:-
The student those who are applied for this Scholarship much belong to the OBC Category
Students should Have an OBC Certificate.
In the case of national fellowship for OBC, their family income should be less than 6 lakh.
Students who have completed their post-graduation are eligible to apply for the national fellowship for the OBC.
For the ONGC Scholarship, applicants must be in their 1st year of professional courses like engineering medical.
The student who applied for the ONGC Scholarship must have got a minimum of 60% in their class 12 & should be below 30 years of age.
Eligibility for merit scholarship – the student must be between classes 6 to 12 and have 55% above. Their family income must not be more than 2 lakh per annum.
For the central sector, scheme candidates must have got 60% in their previous exam. Their age must be below 35 years.
The family income must be within 3 lakh.

OBC Pre-Matric Scholarship –
From class 6 to students are given rs.500 per annum for their admission fee.
Rs.300 for their tuition fee
Post Matric –
A student pursuing a Ph.D., M Phil, LLM, is given Rs.750 per month for non-hosteller & 350 per month for Hosteller.
Students of MA, M.COM, M.SC are provided 510 for non-hosteller 335 for Hosteller per month.
BA, B.SC, B.Com students are awarded 400 for non-hosteller 210 for Hosteller per month.
Courses like ITI & Polytechnic are given 260 for non-hosteller & 160 for Hosteller per month.

Selection process:-
The eligible candidate is selected on their merit in their qualifying examination through each course of study. Special privileges are given to the student whose families are below the poverty line. For nation overseas student who has got admission in the foreign institution will be given 1st preference. The candidates are selected by the ministry of social justice and govt of India.
