Vidyadhan Scholarship:-
Vidyadhan Scholarship is one of the best Scholarships for deserving students. The Sarojini Damodaran Foundation has initiated the Vidyadhan Scholarship for the Student after class 10. More than 2800 students have been benefited from this scholarship scheme till now. The economically backward students belonging to the states of Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Telangana are eligible to apply for the Vidyadhan Scholarship. The students whose financial condition is so poor that their family income cannot support their higher education are awarded through this scholarship scheme.
The organizing body, The Sarojini Damodaran Foundation, selects the candidates depending upon the results of an online test and interview. The eligible candidates can benefit from Rs 5000 to Rs 60000 from this scholarship to reward their higher education after class 10. It aims towards helping the underprivileged students belonging to the weaker sections of the society to pursue their education despite of their low family income. The meritorious students who cannot complete their studies due to various economic problems are provided with the opportunity to apply for this Vidyadhan scholarship scheme and benefit from them.
It was founded in 1999 by the SDF (SarojiniDamodaranFoundation) with the objective to promote education also among the weaker sections category students. The organization has expanded its reach to various other causes like scholarship for education, cardiovascular care, pension assistance, nutrition, organic agriculture, arts, and culture, all over India.
