DCE SCHOLARSHIP: –
The DCE Scholarship was launched by the Kerela Government and its various departments. Every year the Kerela govt brings up different applications for several scholarships to make sure the students do not face any financial burden in their path of higher education and complete their studies to make a promising career. The DCE Scholarship is also known as the Kerela Scholarship, which is made available for the deserving and eligible students to Kerela State those who are unable to support their education due to economic crisis. There are scholarships both at the school and college levels that are funded by the central and state governments.
There are a total of 16 scholarships under this scheme. The major departments of the Kerela govt which provides the scholarships to the candidates include the Department of Minority Welfare and the Department of Collegiate Education. The backward category students who belong to SC, ST, OBC, MINORITIES are offered this Scholarship for pre and post-matric studies to pursue higher education despite their low family income. Education is the fundamental right of every student, but some families cannot support after a certain level due to poor source of income; hence these scholarship schemes are initiated by the govt for them to provide proper education facilities to build a bright future.

Eligibility Criteria:-
The students have to belong to a backward category.
Sikhs, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Jains, & the Parsis community can apply for this Scholarship.
Applicant must have their Higher Secondary Certificate.
The annual income of the family should not be more than 8 lakh.
Girls students Can apply for this Scholarship.
Students must have secured above 60% in their board exam.
