Eligibility Criteria for Madhyamik Pass Candidates (10th) in 2015 (Rs. 500/- Per Month): Candidates who have at least 75% Marks in agreegate in Madhyamik (10th) Examination 2015, excluding optional elective subject. Who took admission in Class-XI after passing Madhymik/ equivalent Examination are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria for H.S Pass Students (10+2) in 2015 (Rs. 750/- to Rs. 1500/- Per Month): Candidates who have obtained at least 75% Marks in Higher Secondary Level, Best of Five Marks to be calculated on (2 Language Subjects + Best 3 Elective Subjects). Who took admission in the 1st Year of Under Graduate Course are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria for Madhyamik/Vocational Pass Students of Seeking Admission in Polytechnic (Rs. 750/- Per Month): Students scored 75% marks (excluding optional subjects) and who took admission in any of the following mentioned courses are eligible to apply.
1. 1st Year Diploma (Polytechnic) after Madhyamik (10th).
2. Diploma (Pharmacy)/ Modern Office Practice & Management of 2 year duration.
3. 2nd year Diploma (Polytechnic) through Lateral entry after passing HS equivalent WBSCVET courses.

Eligibility Criteria for Candidates completed Graduation with Honours (Rs. 1200/- to Rs. 1400/- Per Month): Students who have 55% Marks in Honours subject at Graduation Level, and who got admission in 1st year at Post Graduate Level Course.

Application Procedure:
Meritorious students of West Bengal may apply online and offline mode from 07/10/2015 to 31/12/2015.

How to apply offline:
1. First Download the Application Form, Income Affidavit and Income Certificate from B.D.O. The Sample forms/ annexures/ certificate can be downloaded from here or the official portal of WB Government. (https://eservices.wb.gov.in/) but students may face SSL Security Certificate Error while opening the actual Government Page.

2. Fill the Application Form very Carefully. Get an Affidavit as per Income Affidavit Format stating the Annual Family Income. Get a Certificate from BDO, Not Below Rank of Block Development Officer. Attach photocopies of all required documents listed below.
3. Submit The Completed Application to the Concerned Department located at Bikash Bhaban, Kolkata. You can find the Address of Respective Department from below. Last Date for Submission of Bikash Bhaban Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship is 31 December, 2015. Your Application to be submitted within the last date mentioned above.
