Educational Qualification,Experience & Age Limit:
1. Senior Scientist cum Head: Candidates should have possessed a 1st class or high 2nd class Masters degree in the relevant subject or discipline followed by a Bachelors degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Science/ Veterinary Science/ Fishery Science. And a Doctoral degree in any branch of Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Science/ Fishery Science. With 8 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist. As on 01/01/2016 applicants upper age limit should be 45 years. Upper age relaxation for reserve category candidates as per the Govt. Rules.
2. Subject Matter Specialist: Candidates should have possessed a 1st class or high 2nd class Master’s degree in the relevant subject/ discipline followed by a Bachelors degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Science or Veterinary Science from a recognized University. As on 01/01/2016 applicants upper age limit should be 40 years. Upper age relaxation for reserve category candidates as per the Govt. Rules.
3. Stenographer Grade-III: Candidates must pass H.S (Class 12 th) or equivalent examination with a certificate of stenography from a recognized institution and Knowledge of Computer. And Steno/ typing speed at 100/40 words/minute, with Proficiency in English and Bengali typing. As on 01/01/2016 applicants upper age limit should be 35 years. Selection Process: Selection will be made through an Interview
Application Fee: The candidates should have to pay a non refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- for the posts under Serial No. A and B above (Rs 250/- for SC/ST candidates) and Rs. 300/- the posts under the Serial No. C–G above (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST candidates).
