Odisha Prerana Scholarship was launched by the Government of Odisha & the Welfare Association for the applicant who belongs to the backward class & Category. It is a kind of Help by the Government for all the poor & needy students who cannot afford their investment. All SC / ST /OBC /GENERAL / MINORITY Categories can apply for this Scholarship. Prerana Scholarship is a post-matric Scholarship initiated by the SSD & minority & backward classes welfare department. The Scholarship helps the students to complete post-Matriculation Courses & Studies. Can apply for this Scholarship only to Odisha State Student. Prerana Scholarship supports financial Help to ST Students who are studying in National Level Institute only.

Prerana Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:-

The Student Should be a citizen of Odisha State.
Students should have Graduate & Post Graduate for all Stream.
The total Family Income of SC/ST students should not be more than 2.5 lakh.
The Family Income of OBC/SEBC/EBC students should not be more than 1 lakh.
EBC Students must be pursuing in Government Institutions only.

The Student Should be a permanent citizen of West Bengal State.
Applicants should belong to a minority community.
Students should be studying under the Institute or school from the Central Government or State Government schools.
The Family Income of the students should not be more than 2 lakh / 2.5 Lakh per annum for Pre- Matric Scholarship / Merit-cum means Scholarship.

Renewal Application:-

The candidates have to inform about their caste certificates, aadhar card no to the authority of the Institute. The Institute will then run the Prerana Scholarship renewal for each academic year to put in the required information for the application. Students have to communicate if there are any changes in their application process.

Selection Process:-

Prerana Scholarship Selection is entirely based on merit. Initially, the Institute will go through the received applications. Then, send the application to the District Welfare Officers (DWOs). Now, The DWOs will finalize the applications & select the students. Hence, the final selection of applicants Depends mainly upon the DWOs Decisions. Finally, I will transfer the Scholarship amount to the selected applicants’ Bank Ac.

Rewards:-

Prerana Scholarship assists with a 100% Course Fee for General courses. The Scholarship amount of Rs.28500/- is provided for Diploma courses & Technical Degrees. It also provides an additional amount of monthly remuneration.
