Detailed Information About Naval Ship Repair Yard, Port Blair Recruitment

Educational Qualification:
For Post No. 1 to 15: Candidates must pass Matriculation / equivalent from a recognized Institute / Board with knowledge of English. Should have Apprenticeship Training in the relevant trade and holding National Apprenticeship Certificate.

For Post No. 16 to 23: Candidates must pass Matriculation / equivalent from a recognized Institute or Board. And should have knowledge of English with Apprenticeship Training in the Trade at Dockyard Apprentice School of Indian Navy and holding National Apprenticeship Certificate.

For Post No. 24: Candidates must pass 10th standard from a recognized Board or lnstitute.

Age:
As on applicants age limit should be 18 years to 25 years. Upper age relaxation for the OBC category candidates 3 years, SC / ST categoy candidates 5 years and for other reserve category candidates as per the Govt. Rules.

Selection Process:
Selection will be made through a written test, skill test and Interview. Merit lists in each category will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written test and qualifying of skill test / interview.

Application Procedure:
Candidates are required to apply through prescribed format (which is given with the official notification) within 30 days and 40 days for remote areas from the date of publication of the official advertisement in Employment News Paper. I personally suggest don’t wait for the last date, should apply as early as possible.

How to apply:
1. At first xerox and attested the following documents which shall be attached with the application form:
a. Educational qualification certificate (10th pass mark sheet)
b. Age proof certificate (Class 10 the certificate / Brth certificate)
c. Self attested copy of National Apprenticeship Certificate (not applicable for
candidates applying for the post of Tradesman Mate at SI-24).
d. Caste certificate if applicable
e. Discharge certificate in case of Ex-Servicemen
f. 2 aditional passport size photograph.
And also required latest passport size photograph should be pasted on the application form and 1 self addressed envelops Size – 23 x 13 cm with Rs 10/- postage stamp affixed on the envelope.

2. Next step, the application should either be typewritten or neatly hand written with blue / black ink on one side only, on A4 size plain paper. The application should be filled by the candidate in their own handwriting in Capital Latters only.
