Detailed Information About Group B & C Recruitment Through SSC CGL Exam

Educational Qualification: Candidates must pass Bachelors Degree from a recognized University or Institute for Assistant Audit Officer, Bachelors Degree in any subject from a recognized University with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th standard level for Statistical Investigator Gr II, Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject for Compiler, Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent for all other posts.

Age: As on 01/08/2016 applicants age limit should be 20 years to 30 years for post A-1, 18-27 years for post A-3 to 6, 9, 10, 12, B-1 to 3, 5, 20-30 years for post A-8, 18-25 years for post B-6, upto 30 years for post A-7, 13, upto 32 years for post A-11, not exceeding 30 years for post A-14, 18-27 years (CBDT) & 20-27 years (CBEC) for post B-4, 18-27 years (Central Vigilance Commission) & 21-27 years (Intelligence Bureau) for post A-2. Upper age relaxation for reserve category candidates as per the Govt. Rules.

Selection Process:
Selection will be made through written exam, skill test. The Examination will be conducted in three tiers, tier – I will be Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type), merit lists in each category will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the tier – I written test and qualifying of tier – II and Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable).

Application Fee:
The candidates should have to pay a non refundable application fee of Rs. 100/- through State Bank of India only either in the form of challan, generated on line, or through SBI Net Banking. Payment can also be made through any Credit or Debit Card. No Application fee required for SC / ST / PH / Ex-Servicemen / Female candidates.

Application Procedure:
Candidates are required to apply online through the official website at ssconline2.gov.in & sscregistration.nic.in from 13/02/2016 to 21/03/2016 for Part-I Registration & 24-03-2016 for Part-II Registration. I personally suggest don’t wait for the last date, should apply as early as possible.

How to Apply:
Before apply candidates should have valid email and scanned copies of recent passport size photograph and signature.
1. Go to ssconline2.gov.in / sscregistration.nic.in
2. Click on “Examination”
3. Fill the form in 2 Parts (Part-I Registration, Part-II Registration) (Part I Registration, Candidates have to fill basic information)
4. After filling the Part-I. Click on “I agree” button. (Note down the registration number or take out the print out of the page)
5. In Part II registration candidates have to enter the payment details, upload the photograph & scanned signature. (Those who are exempted from payment of fee can skip that entering those fields)
6. Fill all the details
7. Click on “Submit”
