Education:
Candidates should have Master Degree Pass from a recognized University / Institute. Candidates also have a certificate course in Stenography from Government ITI and on the basis of qualifying test in shorthand and typewriting for which the minimum speed shall be 80 and 40 w.p.m. respectively.
Age Limit:
Candidates age limit should between 18 years to 40 years. Age relaxation for SC / ST Candidates 5 years, 3 years for OBC Candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates and other relaxation as per Government Rules.

Application Fees:
After successful submission of the form online, a Challan will be generated indication the basic details of the candidates which inter-alia shall indicate the amount of fee to be deposited in the J&K Bank Branch as Rs. 500/- for General candidates and Rs. 250/- for Reserve Category candidates. The total amount of fee payable shall include Rs.5/- as service charge of the J&K Bank.
Scale of Pay:
Selected candidates should receive their remuneration like Basic pay of Rs. 9,300-34,800/- + Grade pay Rs. 5,400/- with DA, HRA, Medical Facilities, Gratuity, Contributory Provident Fund, Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme, Leave Encasement, Travel Concession, House Building Advance, Children Education Allowance etc.
