Educational Qualification & Age:
a. Trade Apprentice(Ex-ITI): Candidates must pass passed All India Trade Test(AITT) for Craftsmen Training Scheme and possess a National Trade Certificate(NTC) issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Govt. of India in the respective feeder trade mentioned above. Part time ITI course will not be considered.
As on 01.01.2016 applicants age limit should be 14-25 years. Upper age relaxation for reserve category candidates as per the Govt. Rules.
b. Trade Apprentice(Fresher): Candidates must passed Class 10th standard/ Madhyamik or equivalent examination from recognized Central/ State Board.
As on 01.01.2016 applicants age limit should be 14-20 years. Upper age relaxation for reserve category candidates as per the Govt. Rules.
Selection Process:
Merit List based on marks scored in ITI examination(AITT under CTS) will be prepared for selection of Trade Apprentices(Ex-ITI) in each trade.
